    Breeze Shirt, a joy!

Oh this was a lovely sew. My first with Twig + Tale. I like the simplicity of the markings, they all make so much sense! a notch at the seams, and notches for the hems. Love that every seam is covered, this shirt, even though it's my muslin, will stand up to many washings and wearings to come. My only problems came when I didn't follow the directions fully, my fault completely. The directions feel like a kindly neighbour walking me through the process. Thank you, looking forward to making more in nicer fabrics to come.

    Nice shirt!

I made this shirt from a lightweight flannel, and it turned out just as I had hoped. The pattern was easy to follow, and the video filled in when I had any question about what to do.
I like that there are many options for types of sleeve, collar, etc.
I plan to make this shirt again from other types of fabrics for other seasons.

    Twig & Tale high standard

Love this beautiful pattern. Taking the time to do the French seams really elevates the Breeze, especially when using thin fabrics. The instructions make it all sound so easy and makes for an enjoyable project.

    Breeze shirt in flannel

Another great Twig + Tale pattern! I made one in a lightweight fabric and another in a sturdy flannel, and both get a lot of wear. I wish I'd taken the time to do the split hem option on the flannel one.

    Nice

I am overall happy with the pattern, and will make it again. I am, however, pulling out the side seams of the body because the flair is too much as it approaches the hem. I feel it should be a somewhat straighter cut.

    Lovely Shirt

I love my new Breeze shirt! I chose to make it in an Essex Linen and it’s comfortable and pretty. After making a muslin in my measured for size, I chose to cut an inch of length in the bodice and sleeves. I used my overlocker for construction instead of the French seams. The A0 pattern worked with my projector so no printing necessary. I have another planned in black linen for winter.

    Great pattern

Easy to follow instructions. I can’t wait to wear them with my 10years old and 21months old daughters. I will make my husband’s too

So good I made it thrice

I love this pattern so much that I have made three so far and think I may make more. I have one in lawn (lightweight cotton), one in tencel, which has more drape but still works well, and now one in linen, which is my all-time favourite shirt. The linen is from Merchant & Mills and is so soft plus it doesn't crease as badly as I had expected (see photo). I did the French seams for the first two versions but then switched to standard seams and used my trusty overlocker for the linen one. I cannot recommend this pattern highly enough. It is quick and straightforward and flattering plus there are no darts to get in the wrong place.

    Super pattern!

This was an absolute delight to make and it went together perfectly - just waiting for some worm weather to wear it! Love the layered pattern - so much easier than having to negotiate all those dots and dashes! So man options - which one to choose next - maybe a tunic!
A quick make and excellent instructions and looks fab too!

    so easy!

I used this as the base pattern to replicate my neighbors favorite shirt. It was perfect! I just left off the collar and it's exactly what she was looking for. It was so easy even with the modifications I made. I made it in under 2 hours.
