    Cosy warm coat

Love this coat, great instructions to follow. Made from 100% wool outer with a cotton lining- I also used interfacing for the first time. Cosy and warm- had lots of lovely comments when wearing it also.

    Love my coats

Easy to put together with good instructions.
I will say, that I did not follow the pattern instructions for the placement of the button loops. I preferred them sandwiched between the main coat body and the button placket to produce a nicer, neater finish when buttoned up.

    Love this pattern!

Such a great, easy pattern and a satisfying make. Thanks Lynnette for tagging me on in seam pocket makes, gave me the confidence to deviate from the pattern. This pixie pea coat is made from some thrifted patterned velvet with some thrifted indigo denim on the underside of the collar and button placket facings. Unfortunately it doesn’t photograph very well 🙂 Looking forward to making more!

    Simple and customizable

Love this pattern!! I've never made a coat before and was surprised at how easily it came together. I used a nice soft wool and a repurposed quilt top for mine. I love all of the different collar options and am looking forward to making more of these with different lengths, collar types, fastening methods...so fun to customize!!

    Coat no 7

Yet another Pixie Pea coat! Made with polar fleece and lined with a silky feeling cotton. My elderly mum’s neighbour admired my mum’s coat, so I sewed her one too! Great pattern. X

    Great, fun sew!

Great pattern, clear instructions, I'm super happy with how my coat turned out.
Would love to see more pocket options, otherwise can't fault it!

    A bit more formal!

My third coat using this pattern, and this time I opted for collar and proper buttonholes. First time adding a collar, so really pleased that the instructions were clear and easy. I used a wool blend and lined with Paisley jacquard lining fabric. X

    Fantastic pattern

Second coat this week made from this pattern! This one is made from thick fleece and lined with jersey. It is so comfy and cosy. Added two pockets, and used wooden toggles as closures. Thanks for a great, easy pattern. X
