Lovely and easy to sew

This has become a favorite pattern of mine. It’s easy to adjust for my height (5’10”) to lengthen the body and sleeves for the perfect fit. The neckline and sleeve options make it so customizable. I’ve made three of these shirts now (in linen and cotton lawn) and am planning the fourth. It’s a great breezy shirt for the hot weather of Arizona.

Great pattern!

I made a muslin on the Driftwood A-Line dress, with the included FBA instructions. My first try turned out great! I am not sure the dress version is great for my body type, but I plan to make the top for sure. Instructions and pattern were perfect.

I love this pattern!

After making the driftwood blouse for my little 2 year old granddaughter I decided I had to have one for myself ,so I bought the adult version. Just like the kids version this was a quick and easy sew. I've never been happy with anything I've sewn for myself but I have to say I was pretty pleased with the blouse I made. I also made a beach coverup using the A-Line add on. This is a great pattern and I will be using it lots.

A Winner!

Great pattern, great instructions, great support (I was having trouble, emailed and got immediate responses that solved my problem in less than 12 hours!), great everything. Best of all, the blouse camouflages my tummy perfectly! Thanks!!

I love this pattern and will be making several more variations. I used a vintage, lightweight cotton that I found in a local thrift store and have enough fabric left to make the long sleeved version in addition to the short sleeved . Will Look great with a pair of jeans. I was concerned about a pattern that required me to put the garment on over my head as opposed to a button front because I have issues with shoulder mobility, but I have no problems putting on this blouse.

A perfect spring staple

I created my blouse from a whimsical flower cotton to wear through spring and the result is fabulous (though I did shorten the hem by 8cm, to sit right at the hip). It is a pattern that challenged me a little and taught me lots. I needed a little patience, but the instructions never let me down, so it was a fully enjoyable process. I wish to make a long-sleeved, button-down version next.

Delightful knit Driftwood

I was wanted a tee-shirt with a gathered neck and when I saw the option of making a knit draftwood I was away. I'm really thrilled with my fancy tee, made from a lightweight Liberty knit fabric, and have had lots of compliments on it. I referred to the blog post on making Draftwood in jersey, and omitted the front opening. I shortened the top rather than add a knit band, and included the bands on the sleeves (though perhaps could have shortened them a little due to their stretch). This is a great pattern and I will definitely make it again - I'm thinking of a silk one next!
