Skill Level: Adventurous beginner
Make old things new again! Twig & Tale patterns pair wonderfully with recycled fabrics. Look to gently used light weight linen garments, pashminas, muslin wraps and pretty printed cotton dresses for inspiration.
Our digital patterns are tiled and designed to print using your home printer on either US Letter, or A4 paper.
Patterns include a nifty “layers” feature, allowing you to print only the size(s) you need, or all of the sizes. Full step-by-step printing instructions are supplied.
This pattern also includes an additional wide format file that can be taken to a local copy shop and printed on single sheets of A0 paper.

Such a great pattern with plenty of options to choose from
I have sewn this pattern 3 times now. the first time I had trouble with the neck but with care have now successfully sewn it and it looks fabulous. an easy pattern if you take your time.
LOVE this blouse pattern, so easy and the instructions are so detailed and clear. The neck turns out a little big for my girls as the bias strip tends to stretch; but a little ribbon threaded through fixes that in no time! Next time I will try stitching a ribbon inside the seam before attaching binding to stop the stretch. BTW this wouldn't be a problem for a summer blouse. I LOVE all the options; and specially how the sleeves are not set in.
This is such a handy pattern for blouses for girls and women alike. I love the three I have made and plan to make a few more this season. So pretty but functional. Can't wait to make the dress as well. So much value in one pattern as usual!
The tutorial is very easy to follow, clear and straight forward and the results stunning. I purchased the driftwood dress to make an “olden-days” costume and my little girl loved it so much we have more on the sewing table.
A great first T&T experience for us, thank you!
I've made a shirt and one dress (3 more cut out). I originally purchased to make costumes for children from the 1800's. I can see myself making many more of these for both my son and daughters. This iss a great pattern with lots of options.
The pattern was very easy to assemble. Instruction are spot on and the end result is stunning! My 4 year old grand-daughter will love it! Will be making many more variations of this pattern....thank you!
I love this pattern. It is so versatile. I have made several dresses, with and without a ruffle, and countless blouses in both long and short sleeves. Omitting the ruffle and neck ties, this also make a perfect loose fitting boy's shirt.
