Trailblazer Vests are made for crisp mornings and ambitious endeavours. Zip up, slip hands in (deep, man-sized!) pockets and be ready for whatever outdoor adventures may come along.

Printing Info
Our digital patterns are tiled and designed to print using your home printer on either US Letter, or A4 paper.
Patterns include a “layers” feature, allowing you to print only the size(s) you need, or all of the sizes. Full step-by-step printing instructions are supplied.
This pattern also includes an additional wide format file that can be taken to a local copy shop and printed on single sheets of A0 paper.

In testing, our adventurous beginner level sewers managed this garment well using the instructions and videos provided. If you are new to zips this is a GREAT pattern to learn with. You can do it! We also have an active and friendly chat group where you can ask questions anytime you need.

This was a really well designed pattern and sizing was accurate to list. I was very impressed with the instructions with clear details and photos. The video tutorials were helpful too. I chose to make my own outside pockets and I am very happy with the result. It's a Christmas gift!
I just love this pattern- was super easy to follow even with the alterations i made to make it a single layer over being a lined vest. I cannot comment on fit yet as it’s still in transit to its home but it looked like it’d be good!
Finished my first vest for my husband, he picked the blanket and the lining and he loves it.
Pattern went together well. Sizes seem to run a tad big. The pieces went together perfectly thanks to step by step directions. Only used seam ripper once, but was a machine issue and a stitch I wasn't happy with. Thanks T&T.

This is a great pattern for a beginner like me. I made two for my husky husband. The go together quickly and easily. I did make two alteration to the pattern, which was making the pocket openings bigger and there is a ton of ease so I had take it in.
Love this pattern! Made one each for my 14yo boys and hubby. Had to make the smallest size and shorten the vest for the boys, but I followed the pattern instructions and they turned out to be a perfect fit! 👌 A vest is a pretty simple item, but with the options and panels in this pattern, I was able to make three really different vests to perfectly suit the personalities of my three favourite men. Thanks!
