This sweet, simple little dress has stolen our hearts. Featuring an easy a-line shape and pretty rounded petal-shaped panels that cross over at the front and fasten at the sides.
A truly versatile piece that can be made dress or tunic length, the Petal Wrap is also fully reversible, offering two looks in one. Sew it in lightweight linen or cotton for summer, or cosy wool or corduroy for winter.
Skill level: Beginner
Make old things new again! Twig & Tale patterns pair wonderfully with recycled fabrics. Look to gently used linen garments, corduroy or woollen trousers, and pretty printed cotton dresses for inspiration.

I absolutely love this free pattern! I made the 0-3 month size for my 7 week old granddaughter using upcycled fabrics, and am so pleased with how it turned out. I also love that it's reversible!
I'm new to sewing garments so the instructions and the video were very helpful. I know that I'll be making many more of these as this little one grows up
My daughter was thrilled with this dress. I made a size 10 (she's a very tall 7-year-old) and it looks great on her. Nice to find a pattern that fits her but is still not to "old" for her.
I am a novice sewer - only been at it for 3 months. This was by far the easiest pattern I've encountered - great step-by-step instructions, easy to print (especially when you can just print the size you want) and excellent tips from the blog/videos. I'm very happy with the result - it looks so good for a beginner sewer project! I immediately went on to purchase other patterns from you.
Thank you so much
I made the dress in a size 4. A better seamstress would have given this a 5. The instruction video was excellent, yet I still found myself ripping out seams.
I have had this pattern a little while now, unfortunately it won't print on my computer. I was really excited to make this little Dress

This dress is so easy and fun to make. I can't wait to make many more. Next time I will try mixing up the material a little bit.
I just love this pattern. I've made 17 dresses since getting the pattern. Most recently Newborn to 18 months (2 each) for my cousin who is having a little girl in January/February 2022. She loved them all and can't wait to use them.
