Beautiful Pattern

Absolutely in love with this pattern - thought it would be out of my skill level but amazingly surprised how easy it was. Can’t wait to make another pair!!

Amazing wings for big adventures

These wings are absolutely amazing! As a sewing newbie the pattern and instructions are easy to follow. Also for the different things you need is a clear explanation.

We made the dragon wings small size 2 years ago for our son, he is now 5 and still using them with his pixie pea dragon coat.

So can recommend them to all of you! For kids, dolls, adults, they are amazing!

Can't wait to make another pair (or more)

Easy to sew and much loved gift

I made a pair of wings for my niece and her doll. The pattern is beautifully written and makes a great lasting gift. Was easy to sew and makes sturdy wings. My niece has been enjoying playing with them and asked if I could make her a smaller version for her smaller dolls.

Beautifully Achievable

I am still fairly new to sewing, but I am finding these wings very doable. The instructions are clear and simple, and even though I haven’t finished them, I can’t help showing off my half finished wings to every one I know. I can’t wait to get on my sewing machine and I can’t wait to give them to my son.

Beautiful ánd worth the effort

The tutorial was great, my old sewing machine could handle the thick layers of fabric and now the result is amazing.

Incredible!

Loved these patters, theyre easy to follow and the enchanted wings they produced were a little girls' (and Boys') dream come true.

This was a lovely pattern that was written and explained with exceptional detail. The instructions and videos were very helpful and easy to use. This pattern requires a lot of cutting, pinning, tracing, ironing in addition to sewing, which made it a bit time consuming but I found the pattern itself to be quite easy. We loved the results. My daughter was a Pipevine Swallowtail Butterfly for Halloween.

Fun project

These are beautiful wings but it helps to do a practice set first. I made the large wings for myself but the elastic is a bit small so my 10 year old wins here. The instructions are very clear and I did the sew along which was so helpful to see what others were succeeding with and questions they had. Mine look very flat due to not using thick enough wadding so my next pair I will use something significantly thicker to get that padded effect. I also wouldn't trim the top of the interfacing/wadding as after ironing this section is noticeable. I don't think it needs trimming for turning out as all the other points turned through beautifully. I definitely recommend using a jeans needle to get through the thickness as I had trouble even with a new 100 needle prior to this. Overall, this is the most beautiful dress up we have and I am very proud.
