So cute and easy!

I was looking for a last minute make for christmas and found this. It was so fast and simple and the result was so adorable. Highly recommend. I will be making a few more of these.

So sorry I haven't used the pattern yet, I have some health problems to attend to first. Happy New Year!

Great pattern, but sizing runs a little big

I made this Pixie hat for my daughter as a Christmas gift, and it is absolutely adorable. I used an old wool sweater of mine for the exterior fabric, and some quilting cotton for the lining. The pattern was simple and easy to follow, and I really enjoyed the process of making it (especially the hand-stitching and the braided ties at the end). I was also really impressed by the well-designed and detailed pdf file that accompanied the pattern. My only critique is that the hat sizing seems to run a bit large. I made the 18-36 month size for my 2-year-old daughter, and the hat is pretty big on her. If I were to make this pattern again, I'd use a smaller size. But I know she'll grow into it, and she'll hopefully get a couple of year's use out of this cute hat.

Simple ~yet elegant

Nervousness gave way to absolute joy once I got started. This pattern is absolutely lovely ! The maker can run away with their imagination or keep it sweet and simple!

Easy and fun

My daughter requested a gnome hat and this was the perfect pattern. I whipped up three (one for each of my children) in no time at all! I made all large for a 2, 4 and 5 year old and it fits all of them well with plenty of room to grow. Absolutely adorable!

One of my most used patterns!

This pattern is so sweet in its simplicity. It has become one of my most used patterns. I love how easy it is to add trim and fur to make the pixie hat look even more elegant.

Too cute

Love love love this pattern, it’s so cute so warm (we did a Sherpa lining) and so versatile! The sizes seem a little big I made a 6-12 month and it fit my smallish head and was huge on my little babe but still adorable. This is the pattern that got me hooked on twig and tale <3
