Beautiful pattern!

Just the thing for my daughter's dress up outfit. It was so much fun to sew!

Spectacular!

I really enjoyed sewing this! It was my first lined garment, and it was pretty foolproof. My kid thinks it’s reversible. I wish I had made the hood a little bigger to extend over the head a little further (my kid has a long neck), but I’m thrilled with how it came out, and look forward to making the women’s version for myself!

Too cute

Have made these two size 2 vests for gifts. Managed to cut the grey from a single wool cashmere repurposed coat. Added the piping for the pop and tried a round hood as well as the pixie. Lovely pattern, may now be addicted. So versatile. Will certainly make more and keen to make a coat also.

Even a beginner can make this!

I started with the petal dress as my first sewing project ever. Moved on to the evergreen bonnet, then the wayfarer shoes, and finally felt ready to tackle my first pathfinder vest. This vest was so much fun to make! There are so many different combinations of fabrics and add-ons you can choose that it makes it feel like you are creating something truly unique. I can hardly wait to make another one that looks completely different!

Great vest, with endless possibilities that can be worn for a long time

I have made two Pathfinders so far and will definitely make many more. The pattern is very versatile, especially when combining with the animal add-on. I am really very impressed with the amazing video tutorials which help a visual person like me to quickly learn new sewing skills. The patterns are truly timeless and by changing fabrics and textures can suit any style and preference. I will say, that it is not a quick sewing project, but somehow as soon as one is complete I already think of a new interpretation of the pattern :)

Love, love, love, this pattern!

Seriously adorable and easier than I expected. I made outer from purple corduroy and the inner from a patterned grey stretch jersey. It was a bit of a challenge sewing the knit to the woven, but I wanted the inner to match the leggings I made for the tiny human. I added flutter sleeves, pixie hood, and dropped back and I'm really excited about how well it turned out. Her dad calls it her "wizard cape" :)

I will be making many more in different variations

Great for Fun

I really had fun with this pattern. I used it to make a dragon scale vest for my daughter to go the Renaissance Faire. This was my first time making something like this and it turned out really well. The directions were easy to follow and the Videos were an amazing plus.
