So so adorable. Love this pattern. I love how it is simple and allows the creator to come up with the final result. Obsessed with the pixie hood and.getting lots of compliments on my daughters vest when we were out and about.

Simple to use

I used this vest pattern to make a vest for a wood carver I know. It will be given to a grandchild to wear at a potlatch. I did not line the vest, but instead used self made bias to finish the edges. The carver designed the family crest which I appliquéd onto the back.
My next one - for a friend’s granddaughter-will have a hood.

Oh so cute

I made this vest for my nephew for Christmas. I chose the cutest brown herringbone tweed for the exterior and a paw patrol fabric for the lining. It turned out so adorable. He loves it!

Pathfinder vest

I am new to sewing and just finished a meadow skirt with pretty good results. That gave me courage to try a path finder vest. I purchased a blanket from our local thrift store and combined it with a delightful lama print for the lining. I had no problems following the instructions, it was a little hard to fit the layers under the foot at times. But I am very pleased with the result.
Now I want to attempt and make another one with a felted wool sweater.
What a wonderful pattern!

Absolutely love the pattern. Easy to follow instructions and the versatility can't be beat. My son wore his fox vest today and received a lot of compliments. I will be making many Pathfinders. :)
