Everyone loves this vest!!

I fell in love with this vest and all of its options the first time I saw it. But, despite having been sewing for four decades, I’d never made a hood. And I loved the pixie hood especially.

So I bought the pattern and hoped for the best. The pattern itself was super quick and easy to assemble. I waffled on the hood, but the instructions were really good. I decided to go for it and I’m glad I did! I’ll definitely be making more for my little guy.

Charming pattern

Lovely in every way. Very sweet design, easy to make, clear instructions. Only comment is that there are so many different sizes on the one pattern, it’s difficult to follow the correct line for the correct size when printing.

A toddler’s must have! Such an adorable pattern

Easy to follow

So versatile, my 3rd piece to make for my daughter. The vest is just so cute and stylish

Versatile

This pattern sews up quickly and easily. The basic pattern is great for the changing seasons and the animal add-ons make for a great costume or for dress up. My daughter loved dressing up as a dragon!

Wonderful pattern, so many options

Easy to follow and so many options! Love that TT encourages upcycling. I made this vest for my toddler using my own bunting from several (yikes) decades ago. Also used the pattern to make a "bear" vest (to go with an Evergreen Bonnet with bear ears) for Hallowe'en. This pattern will get a lot of use for years to come!

Always Interesting!

I’ve made a few of these for my granddaughters. No boredom here—it’s like making a different vest every time. The pattern is well-drafted and the directions are excellent. This is the latest for the 18 month old granddaughter. The corduroy on the exterior was surprisingly easy to sew and the lining is flannel. I used flannel from the lining to cover the buttons! Okay, the pockets are a wee bit wonky, but I chalk that up to live and learn. Just ordered the adult version. Grandmama needs a new vest!

Pathfinder

I have finished the pathfinder vest for my neighbours 4 yr old. Great pattern, so easy to follow. I made a wee outfit for her dolly with the leftover fabric.

What a fun make!

This has been an easy and super fun make for some littles in my life. This is my second Twig and Tale pattern and I’m hooked. The instructions a clear, as are the pattern piece markings. Most importantly, every piece fits together as it should.

So satisfying

I am very happy with the patterns, the proportions look so cute and the sleeveless vest is perfect for playing in southern hemisphere winter. The instructions really help to achieve a perfect finish. I upcycled a felted sweater and blue twill from an old overall.
