Warm and cozy, great design

I recently made my twin niece and nephew the pixie pea coat for their upcoming birthday and I loved them so much I also made one for myself. I took them for a fitting over Easter and I have now got two orders for their mum (my sis-in-law) and one of my aunties. Such a fast and easy make. I love them!

Blue pixie pea coat

This coat was so easy and lots of fun to make. I uses an old wool jacket I found thrift store and used the lining from the original coat also. I also made a matching pair of boots to go with it. I hope it fits her next winter. This is a size 2 jacket with fox ears and size 8 baby tie back boots.

Fabulous coat!

I made this for my daughter and it's the first 'big' sewing project I've ever done and the pattern made me feel like a pro! I added wool batting, quilting it to the liner for added warmth. I can't wait for my daughter to try it on and to make my next one!

It really is that easy!

Seriously easy. The step by step instructions are so clear and the possibilities of this coat are endless! I bought the kids pattern and now I’m 100% sure I’ll be making one for myself as well. Comes together so fast!

Wish to sew it sooner ♥️

It’s a simple, cute and unisex coat All in one

You can do so much extra with embellishment or simply add a Pom Pom on the tip of pixie

I already plan to make 4 more 🤩

My first one was an orange flannel layer with fleece and cotton quilt for my little Miss in Fall

Beautiful!

My mum purchased the pattern for me as a present and I couldn’t wait to get making the coat for my two. It’s a really beautiful pattern and what I love about it, it can be personalised! Not one coat is the same. I have just created an account for myself and have already purchased some more patterns to try. Thank you.

so special!

I made this in bright orange canvas lined with cotton poplin for my very active 2-year old nephew, and I cannot believe how well it came out! I'm definitely somewhere closer to adventurous-but-self-doubting beginner than a true intermediate, but I was recently gifted a serger (not required) and it made the jacket and rounded hood seams feel extra secure (again, 2-year old). T&T instructions are by far the best of any patterns I've ever used. I'd never used toggles before but they are so cute. The hanger pictured makes it look kind of distorted because I didn't have a children's size hanger, but it actually hangs beautifully and I am so pleased with it--more importantly he loves it too <3 already looking forward to my next T&T project...maybe the adult size for myself!
