Cutest jacket ever

I really loved this pattern. The drafting was excellent and it came together beautifully. The hood (I made the round hood) fits perfectly, no overhang at all. I made it for my granddaughter who is 15 mths old, in a size 1. Highly recommend it.

Made this wintercoat for the newborn daughter of my cousin-in-law. She probably won't wear it for a while yet but hopefully she will like it when she does.
It was at least a lot of fun and very easy to make even while completely ignoring the instructions.

Perfect addition to the wardrobe

This is a super jacket to make and adapt to all the animals. As a semi beginner I found it super easy to sew with a very professional finish.
Thanknyou for another delightful pattern to work with

Super fun. Super easy.

Yes, this little coat was great to make and the pattern extras really allows for lots of variety in your coat. Will definitely make it again, and again, and let's face it, again.

Kid-approved and pretty fast!

My toddler saw the photos for this coat and instantly wanted one. As I was making one for him, his brothers asked for one, too! It's a really fun, imaginative coat that kids are drawn to. The instructions and pattern pieces are quite thorough, and the directions as written make a pretty fast sew for a coat (I'd estimate 5-9 hours as written). Also, the way the pattern is written keeps the sew reasonably easy - there aren't vents or funky sleeve seams or weird lining directions - it's all pretty straightforward! High quality pattern that I am already getting a lot of use out of

Great Pattern

I have made a few animal coats but this was the most challenging due to the fur and a middle layer of brushed cotton for extra warmth, I also partially lined the sleeves with a polyester lining and cotton lining for the rest of the coat.
I'm pleased with the results and am now planning my next animal

Love this pattern

This is such an excellent pattern. I made a fox one for my son when he was 3 months old and now he's 3 he's asked for a ladybird version. The instructions are excellent and it's drafted so well

a tropical cat pixie pea coat

Made for the Queensland winter, where the temperature rarely dips below 24 degrees Celsius in winter, I made this coat from a light weight uncut cotton corduroy with a cotton poplin lining. Such a cute little pussy cat coat! This is an easy to make coat with an easy to follow pattern and instructions.

Patchwork Pea Coat

I made it much more time consuming by creating my own fabric from scraps but the classic design using simple shapes and well written instructions made for a great sew. The inclusion of how to recycle materials is fabulous for those new to sewing. I look forward to using the animal add ons next time.
