Doll Leaf Blanket ~ New Zealand Collection

Bring a bit of the New Zealand rainforest inside by sewing a whimsical, quilted leaf blanket.

A simple, satisfying project, these diminutive leaves are suitable for critters 9-18 inches in size.  They make lovely playthings for little hands and are sure to be put to use cuddling and caring for favourite dolls and animals.

Dreamed up by Lisa's sweet, nature-loving girl, a portion of the sales will go towards reforestation projects and protecting animal habitat.   Read more about her project here.

Lovely Leaves

This is a wonderful pattern, very nicely detailed and educating those of us who are not familiar with New Zealand trees! I have 2 grandchildren on the way as well as 4 already here so I plan to make quite a few of these this spring!

Leaf bundle

Really good patterns. So far Ive made a picnic blanket, backed with oilcloth, a baby blanket, a doll blanket, and in the middle of a set of 6 tablemats. So much versatility in one pattern. Thank you

Wonderful pattern!

The directions were so easy to follow and had great tips along the way. I made 3 large child sized blankets the first week I had the pattern! I have done some machine quilting before, but it never comes out how I hope. This time it was perfect and I plan on using what I learned with this pattern on all my future quilts and blankets!

Very easy patterns

The leaf bundle is the first t&t I have bought. It was a very quick sew. I made a 15 inch for My son and Daughter in laws new tiny jack chi puppy. He loved the stalk and just kept ragging it and jumping around it. I'm glad I decide to include it.

Leaves everywhere!

I’ve made a couple doll sizes and child sizes. They come together quick and easy. I use what I have on hand most of the time and they always turn out really nice. I think I’ll have to print out the AO size for the child sizes to make it easier though.

I’m glad we were able to contribute to the total number of trees to be planted.
