Meet Fleur, a truly magical doll, looking to share her adventures with a special little child. Fleur's hair is inspired by my great grandma Mabel who used to always wear her hair this way.
Clothing pattern bundle includes : Kimono dress, french knickers and shoes.
You will receive a clear, detailed tutorial including step-by-step photos. No previous dollmaking or embroidery experience required!
Experience required Fleur is suitable for someone who has used a sewing machine before. Embroidery experience is not required and is fully explained.
Fleur is not a whip-it-up-in-an-evening project, rather there are lots of elements which can be done in a spare fifteen minutes here and there - so she does come together nicely :)
Make old things new again! Twig & Tale patterns pair wonderfully with upcycled fabrics. Briar uses very little fabric so look to gorgeous vintage garments and trims and precious fabric scraps for inspiration.

Q: What is the difference between Briar and Fleur?
A: Briar and Fleur have identical bodies. Briar was designed with simpler facial features and hair to make her easier for a beginner. Each come with their own clothing bundles which are also different.
Q: Can I purchase the clothing bundles separately so Fleur can wear Briar's outfits and vice versa?
A: The clothing is interchangeable between the dolls, but at this time the clothing bundles are only available to purchase with the dolls.
First time ever I sewed a doll, but I had so much fun making it! The instructions are really detailed and easy to follow, even for a beginner like me and the doll turned out really nice. I made it as a birthday present for my little girl and she loves it!
These instructions are written so well I don't think anyone would have trouble following them.
I enjoyed making this doll and was pleased how well she turned out.
I just love the doll pattern everything I hoped
Clear and simple instrictions to create a beautiful doll that is easy to love. Fleur was my first ever doll and I thoroughly enjoyed creating her for my daughter. Thank you for a great pattern!
Out of all the things I have ever made I am proudest of this doll. It is the best thing I have ever made and Lisa's instructions hand your hand throughout the whole pattern, I love it
This doll pattern was a delight to make for my little girls birthday gift.
The whimsical charm and adventures she has provided have been a wonderful edition to my child's playful imagination.
The pattern was easy to follow and clearly instructed. Like all of your patterns Lisa you create a magical adventure in each piece.

24” of 44” wide fabric (60cm of 115cm wide fabric). You can use flesh-coloured broadcloth, calico, linen or other plain cotton material for her body. This will be enough for two dolls, but you will need this amount in order to make one.
These are simply suggestions – feel free to use what you have on hand. You will need only a small amount of each color.
