    Lovely little pattern

I really enjoyed sewing up these slippers. They are so cute. I did find I had to size up 2 sizes from the foot guide to get a roomy fit. I will try adding a rubber sole onto the next ones for longevity.

    Wayfarers are addictive!

Warning, once you’ve started making these you won’t want to stop! 😁
They are such a lovely pattern, simple to sew in an hour and totally comfy to wear around the house.
I recommend you make one for every member of the family and more!

    Fun for little feet

I enjoyed the video tutorials for this pattern and persevered even though I knew the shoes were too small as I progressed. My advice is to cut at least 2 sizes bigger than the foot as you need that for the seam allowances. I modified the top on the bigger pair to look more ballet-shoe like. Fun!

    Too cute!

These are absolutely gorgeous! The video is really helpful when coupled with the written instructions. I did have to watch it a couple of times to work out which sides were going together, but once you get that straight in your head they are a quick make! They don't require a lot of fabric so a great way to use up those small scraps you've hung unto of special fabric because it was too beautiful to just throw away. Having done the "test" pair, I'm looking forward to making many more. Wonderful gift too!
