Let their personality shine! This vintage-style pattern adapts with the seasons—make it with linen for summer strolls or with wintery wool paired with tight or knee high socks—to keep up with their endless outdoor adventures.
Make old things new again! Twig & Tale patterns pair wonderfully with recycled fabrics. Look to gently used corduroy or light weight wool garments, pretty printed cotton dresses or men's shirts for inspiration.
These were the first piece of clothing I ever sewed. They turned out adorable and the pattern was super easy to follow.
Some parts of the design was difficult to understand as a beginner. However over all I’m very happy!
This was my first experience using a PDF pattern. A very positive experience with easy to follow instructions. I made the Pixie shorts and was happy with the end result and I plan on making many more.
Lisa, this is my first review, and I don't know why because I have made SO much of yours, but I have to by saying, your patterns give me excited butterflies, just thinking of making something. I know that every time, I am going to get precise, clear instructions. I know I am going to get professional results and they will function well and look amazing on. OK, onto the Pixie shorts. I have made a few pairs pockets and cuffs. I absolutely love them. The video instructions are fantastic for the first sew and then I didn't need them for subsequent shorts. I love adding the pocket detail in a contrast fabric - it is a stunning feature. I'd absolutely recommend these shorts to anyone - from a beginner to a confident seamstress. They are professional and perfect and you will make them Over and Over again!!
Very well thought out instructions. Love the tablet friendly PDF and video link options. Layered printing is always an exciting bonus! For beginners, the only thing i would add is to stay stitch your waistband so it doesn't stretch! I made the Pixie Pants with the Bib Add On for my niece. Very cute! Can't wait to make three more for my boys :)
