Make their make-believe more real with this fun, yet practical hat and scarf combination that keeps them warm as they run wild. Easy-to-make and versatile, the pattern uses less than a metre/yard of fabric, keeps them toasty warm and is more likely to stay on little heads too!

Make old things new again! Twig & Tale patterns pair wonderfully with recycled fabrics. Look to soft sweaters, woollen blankets, gently used corduroy trousers and leather/suede garments for inspiration.
Really nice pattern and instructions easy to follow. I’m very happy with my purchase.
So funny patern and so easy to use, I really loves Twig & Tale pattern ! Even if it's in english, it is really understandable for foreign user
Another fantastic Twig & Tale pattern, super easy and fast to make 15 of these for a unicorn birthday party, have had so many compliments and am already planning on making more. A great addition to my pattern stash.
I made the bear hooded scarf with pocket paws for my son to dress up as Pipsqueak (from The Lorax) on Dr. Suess day. The instructions were easy to follow and I love the paw pad detail! The only trouble I had was in assembling the pocket with claw details. Definitely will make again!
I love love love this pattern! It’s so easy to follow and I love how my bonnets have turned out! Thank you so much!
This pattern includes sizes: 3-6m, 6-12m, 12-18m, 18m-3y, 3-5y, 5-8y, 8-12 and teen/adult.
The sizes are quite generous, but depending on your choice of fabric and whether you prefer it loose or tight fitting, you may need to go up or down a size. For example, you may require a bigger size if you use faux fur.
Exterior: I like to use wool, but you could also use fleece, minky, fur, corduroy, or any other soft warm fabric. You can use felted woolen sweaters for this, but you may need to mix and match two sweaters in order to have enough fabric.
Lining: Cotton, linen, flannel or other soft breathable fabric.
Scarf Version: 7/8 - 1 yard (70 - 90 cm) of both lining and exterior fabric.
Cowl Version: 1/2 - 3/4 yard (40-60 cm) of both lining and exterior fabric.
Crossover Version: 1/2 - 3/4 yard (40-60 cm) of both lining and exterior fabric.
Depending on the width of your fabric, you may get more than one garment from these amounts.
