    Waiting

I bought this pattern early in December. I looked at it properly on Wednesday this week and emailed saying I didn’t think I had the right pattern to download as the one I have only had a pixie hood and no variations. I have yet to hear back- maybe in the New Year?

    2nd coat!

I love this pattern! This is my second coat and this one is made with boiled wool and Liberty of London poplin for the lining. The buttons are hand painted with various birds and reflects the bird themed lining. I also made a matching hat and scarf. Working on a third coat as a gift, the pattern is versatile and easy to make. A pattern worth making again and again.

    So much fun

Had a blast sewing this coat!! Instructions are easy to follow and took me just a little over 5 hours from printing pattern to finished coat. Love it!! So happy with how it turned out, that I took a photo right away in my trackies 🤣

I have just started my pixie pea coat, so I can just talk about assembling the pdf pattern.
I found it hard to assemble, because the diamonds on each page don't give enough guidance, were to assemble the pages exactly.
But the rest of the pattern is well written and the sewing instructions very detailed.

    My beautiful old coat

This was such an easy pattern to sew. I used an old wool blanket so it’s really warm. It came together really well and my new old coat gets so many compliments.
