I purchased the smaller size range even though I have a 41 inch waist, as I want to be able to make skirts for my preteen daughters too. For myself I used the tall waistband and long skirt options, and made the largest size with an added half an inch to each piece. It is perfect. Just normal enough for everyday wear, but fun enough for costumes. I used a Cotton/linen blend fitted sheet and had plenty of fabric. The blouse pictured is the Driftwood.
I found this pattern easy to follow, and the video helped, especially with the bottom of the coat as I got a little lost on it.
I added a little belt at the back as I felt it needed a little something extra, and wanted it adjustable.

I have zero regrets about purchasing the Animal Coat add-on! It turned turned the Pixie Pea Coat (which I already love as it is) into something just a little bit extra magical for the little kids! My niece loves her Bunny Coat, and refuses to take it off. She is literally wearing it almost every day! Thank you for your fantastic patterns! 🤍
The pattern directions and photos were clear and easy to follow. Success on the first try!
I'm in love with this pattern and can't wait to make a maxi length one as well. This was perfect for the last hit of this hemp/organic cotton fabric I'd dyed and been saving for something special. Instructions are very clear.
