Our garment patterns offer timeless, versatile styles with a beautiful balance of fit and function.  Step-by-step instructions are packed with photos, videos, and custom fitting tips so you can enjoy the satisfaction of creating beautiful handmade items.

We offer inclusive sizing, across Baby, Child, Women's/Curved Fit and Men's/Straight Fit charts - up to a 72" hip.

Straight and Curved fit does not refer to "plus-sizes", but rather body shapes (curved meaning having a bust).  It is a naming convention that offers an alternative to traditional gendered labels.

Cute, easy to sew and versatile!

I love this top pattern! It feels both sophisticated and Hobbit-y at the same time. The instructions are comprehensive and easy to understand, and the top is incredibly flattering.

The perfect everyday fantasy top

I've been looking for a top like this for a long time but it was never beginner friendly. This pattern gives you professional looking results with confident beginner friendly techiques,I found the videos to be incredible helpful on the trickier parts. I love how many customization options there are and how fun and easy it was to work with this pattern. I can't wait to make more!

I love this top!

The willow top is so comfortable and goes well with everything - under a pinafore dress or with jeans. The instructions are very clear and even though I had to make some adjustments, it all felt very doable with the both written and video instructions. And the adjustments are totally worth the effort as I now have a top that fits me perfectly.

A Willow or Two!

This design looks incredible on so many different body types, which honestly made sewing it even more exciting. It’s one of those patterns that just works. It also challenged me technically in all the right ways — the kind of sewing project that keeps you engaged, teaches you new skills, and makes you ridiculously proud when it all comes together. And apparently I have zero self-control because I couldn’t stop at making just one - I am completely obsessed!

Flower Petal - Sunny Hat

A version of this hat was posted to Canada Sews on Facebook and it appealed to me right away! Then when I read that embroidery was suggested on it too, I was hooked. Here's my version is a cotton twill. Each panel has a different hand embroidered flower on it - poppy, nasturtium, pansy, daisy, portulaca, morning glory. I'll enjoy wearing it this summer in Canada! Thanks so much.
