This was such a fun pattern and my grandaughter loves wearing it! I enjoyed all the options to customize. I used a courdoroy lined with sherpa on the main vest and a liberty of london cotton for the pockets, angel sleeves and lining of hood.

Incredible pattern
This was so easy to follow and produced a truly magical pair of wings for my littles. The instructions lead you through several somewhat intermediate/advanced sewing techniques with ease. The pictures and text are clear. The sizing is perfect for my kids varying ages (one small- 2 year old and one medium- 4 year old)

Very easy to follow
I didn’t expect such clear instructions. It really helps you through every step, including visual help. I personally didn’t need the videos, but if this was my first time making something like this, they would have been very helpful. Love how the bag turned out.

I had so much fun with this project!
As a newbie to the sewing world, I found this pattern super fun and challenging but easy to follow. A few things I would do differently…
- Make sure I don’t sew the rouleau too far into the dress, I made a beautiful tie from the plaid fabric but couldn’t fit it through my top loops! So I pivoted to this pretty cord.
- I would be more careful about cutting accurately and lining up the edges… something small can become a bigger issue, I had to abandon ship on the last step of sewing the hidden hem because it exposed how uneven the lining was sewn! Oops!
Otherwise I am so happy with how it came out and can’t wait to try again!
