Great sewing experience

I was given this pattern as part of the sew and show team.

I generally find T&T patterns very high quality and this is no exception.

The dress is a beautiful design with quite clever construction techniques for a neat finish. Everything laid out clearly in photo step by step instructions and also accompanying video of the trickier steps.

I’m quite luckily their bodice block fits me quite well (i’m usually a size D with minimal alterations) so never have to do much drastic fitting changes but they have extensive info in the tutorial around this should you need it.

I love the side lacing which gives fit flexibility while being a gorgeous design feature in its own right, and of course it comes with satisfyingly large pockets.

Would thoroughly recommend

A magical dress

This dress is a dream to wear, and I loved the incredibly lovely lining. It's definitely an intermediate level pattern, which I really appreciated as I love the opportunity to level up my sewing skills but with detailed, supportive instructions.

Perfectly magical

I made this for my daughter’s Narnian inspired first birthday party. It turned out beautifully! The pattern was simple to follow and it was fun and quick to sew. The hood is large and I’m hoping that means she can wear it for years to come!

Absolutely ADORE this dress pattern

I am seriously obsessed with this dress pattern and the resulting dress! There were some tricky spots, but the pattern instructions were clear and walked me through them, and I learned some new skills in the process! I sewed mine up in Navy Blue, and the resulting dress is so gorgeous. I feel like I'm ready for a ball!!
