Wonderful results

I have had my eyes on this pattern for a long time, and when I finally had some spare time, decided to go for it. I made 2 so far, and I am pleasantly suprised with the results. My sowing machine was not always happy with the ‘upgrade’ to quilting machine, but it did the trick in the end. I will definitely make a few more!

Sweetest weekend project

I made this vest for my son's baby dedication using remnant fabric - you don't need much at all to whip up this beauty! I kept it very simple and didn't use any extra variations as I was under a time limit and life with a newborn was pretty hectic! Managed to get it done and was so happy with it! Excited about the huge range in sizing and hope to make a few more for my son in the months to come!

Perfect fit!

I started cutting the fabric when I began maternity leave and finished sewing it about 3 weeks after my baby was born! I find myself reaching for this coat over and over. I enjoyed the embroidery and the process very much! But winter was running out here and I wanted to wear it so made the call to skip the windflap for now. I can always do it later on if the inspiration hits! I made a size H and graded to J at the hips although next time I might just only grade up one size. Material is a wool flannel and the lining next time I'll opt for something thinner to reduce the bulk. By next winter hopefully I'll have made the carrier add on! I've already decided what fabric I'll use for my next one! A great pattern that is easy when you use all the resources. Take your time and you'll be proud of the end product - I know I am ❤️

On the 3rd one, I have made the body warmer a few times so thought I'd give the coat a go, brilliant, love it. The pattern and instructions are easy to follow. Pictures really help to make sure everything is in the right place.

Super cute

I used fleece on one side and sherpa on the inside. In-between both fabrics I also used some scrap quilt batting that I had leftover. Its a super warm hat and was fairly simple to make. I was able to sew it in an afternoon and my son loves it.
