The racoon hot water bottle cover was easy to sew. I didn't look at the directions, so I can't comment on those. I did add a seam allowance for the pieces that were appliqued onto the main fabric because I wasn't how much it would fray.
It was a Christmas gift to my daughter and she loves it!
Made up beautifully using pont Roma to create lounge wear for my hubby.
I inserted zipped welt pockets which is his pocket preference but otherwise followed the pattern.
I loved having my hand held through the medium of the video tutorial and am delighted to have created such a nice looking garment for him.
My grandson requested a Domo kun ushanka. Once I'd Googled it and realised the only purchase options were cheaply made from China, I decided to make one. The pattern and instructions were perfect. My seam allowances were a bit off so made the lining a bit smaller. I may not make one in fleece again (not the easiest to unpick 😆) but that's me not the pattern! Grandson was happy with it as you can see.
The Pixie Hat pattern is very cute and very easy to sew. The video tutorial worked best for me (I am a visual learner). I used corduroy for the exterior, flannel for the interior, and twill tape for the ties. It's wonderful. Thank you for providing such an amazing pattern.
I have wanted to try this technique for a while but needed a well explained, simple project to get me started and this pattern was just that.
It is a great way to learn the basics- and make your first mistakes! Even though my panels weren't perfect the whimsy design meant I could still use them on a make.
