How to Add Front Opening Knot Straps - Barefoot Romper

This cute style is super easy to achieve on your Barefoot Romper with just a few simple steps.  You will need to select the long broad strap and anchor loop to re-create this style.

Sew the romper as per the main tutorial until you come to attaching the straps.

( You could actually also regular broad crossed straps - simply baste them in place in the same method as the anchor loop in the main tutorial, using the placement markers for snaps on the back as a guide for placement of the straps. You will need to add a little extra length to the straps to accommodate for the knot).

When it comes to attaching the straps at the front - you don't!  Sew the facings on as per normal.

Once your romper is complete, sew buttonholes onto the front bib of your romper.  Thread your straps through the buttonholes and then tie the straps into knots at the front.

Voila - a super cute, knot front Barefoot Romper!
