The Wildvine Top was such a fun sew! I absolutely love the unique laced side details—they make the design really stand out. It's a versatile pattern that's perfect for layering in cooler weather or wearing on its own when it's warm. It offers just the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting, making it a really rewarding project to sew. Definitely one I'd recommend if you're looking to build your skills while creating a beautiful, wearable garment.
Wearing the Wildvine Corset Top made me feel like I had stepped back in time whilst simultaneously feeling timeless. The Wildvine corset top can be styled in a classic way as well as contemporary. This autumn I'll be attending my sisters Celtic themed wedding and I pictured the Wildvine top in a linnen with a gingham skirt. The pattern is written with step by step instructions clarified by photographs and video instructions for the tricky bits. There are many tips and tricks in the pattern to help you achieve a professional looking finish.
I made a straight size I without grading to a J around the hips. The ties make the size around the waist adjustable so I chose to base the size on my upper and full bust measurements. The top comes with instructions to make it fully lined creating a beautiful finish on the inside as well.
This is one of the best patterns I have. Easy to download. I do sizes individually and had no problem. Great instructions and great fit. 10/10
Wildvine Corset is a teen approved pattern! The cut, the fit, were perfect! I love a pattern where you can customize because of the paneling to give it your personality. I can’t wait to make one for myself.
The Wildvine instructions are really clear and step by step. The fit and size guide was spot on for me and I found the projector file had all the things that I love- clear lines, mirrored pieces and layers. I really enjoyed sewing this corset top. I made the top length with bound hem. I opted to fully line as my fabric is an upcycled white linen sheet and the finishes inside are beautiful.
