Super cute, versatile trousers

I made a few different muslins to get the fit how I liked (originally I thought I might need to add to the rise - I am 5’8” with a long torso) but the pattern actually didn’t need any adjustments. I ended up making size E with a very non stretch fabric and hemming about 3”. The Facebook group was very helpful in making adjustments (which ended up being adjusting back to the original pattern and making another size lol). Final project is the crazy print, the last muslin is the red flannel - aka pajama trousers.

Brilliant Pattern

The Petal Wrap dress is absolutely gorgeous, and the pattern an absolute breeze to make. Such a clever design! My almost 3 year old granddaughter absolutely loves this one - I added matching little wooden figures on strings to the pockets and this was a real winner. Hello Kitty on one side, and a lady beetle on the other. It fits her perfectly, looks amazing, and is so comfortable she didn’t want to take it off. I’m just starting a dinosaur version today, and I expect there will be many more to come.

Pattern was quite easy to use, I was very happy with how it turned out. I have a granddaughter & grandson who are twins, so I made one for each. It was quite simple to make changes so that the coats didn't look the same. They are quite practical, they are a little bit longer, and I quilted them with batting inside so they will be warmer. I was nervous about doing the lining, but everything fit together well, and sits smoothly. No lumps and bumps.
