Oh my gosh, I am by no means a seamstress or even a glorified sewer. I do make some clothes for my children and these are wonderful overalls. I sew when my family sleeps so my seams aren’t always straight and in the end everything fits and is made with love.
The pockets can fit two medium size potatoes in each of them, even potatoes in the back pockets. Also, plenty of rocks and fall leaves.
I embroidered their initials on the front and they picked out their lining fabric. I am working on a few more pairs now.
This little pattern is big with options, so many indeed that you can't stop at making just one!
It is quick to make and uses very little fabric which is an additional bonus.
Great pattern! Easy to make and I really appreciate the video showing the short's assembly. I didn't even have to look at the written instructions. I ended up narrowing the legs and adding the optional back pockets and also adding 2 inches in length to make these practical for landscaping work. I like a wider cuff so didn't fold it in half.
I made the 12m size for my at the time 9m baby and it was a very straightforward sew. As always with T&T patterns it had clear and beautiful photo and video instructions that took you through it. It is super cute and we never fail to get compliments when she wears it, and especially so when we go out in our matching outfits (as I made the adult hedgerows also).
*I received both as part of the sew and show team
I can see her getting plenty of wear out of this current one, and as she gets older will definitely be making more! Also particularly love how many big functional pockets this design has - I can just see her using them as she gets older to store little treasures she finds on her adventures!
I loved making piglet ears bonnet for Halloween! The pattern was the perfect level for an adventurous beginner, like me. I’m very proud of how it turned out and I’m excited to make a sun bonnet next!
