This Expansion Pack includes the much requested sizes 5-10 of the Petal Dress + Tunic. You can grab the original FREE sizes (prem-4) here.
This sweet, simple little dress has stolen our hearts. Featuring an easy a-line shape and pretty rounded petal-shaped panels that cross over at the front and fasten at the sides.
A truly versatile piece that can be made dress or tunic length, the Petal Wrap is also fully reversible, offering two looks in one. Sew it in lightweight linen or cotton for summer, or cosy wool or corduroy for winter.

Printing Info
Our digital patterns are tiled and designed to print using your home printer on either US Letter, or A4 paper.
Patterns include a nifty “layers” feature, allowing you to print only the size(s) you need, or all of the sizes. Full step-by-step printing instructions are supplied.
This pattern also includes an additional wide format file that can be taken to a local copy shop and printed on single sheets of A0 paper.

The fit in this pattern was fine, and even adjustable by moving the button placement. I wanted to add a sleeve ruffle and was disappointed that it wasn’t included in the pattern, as so many of the pictures showed the dress with the ruffle. I searched the site for the ruffle pattern and couldn’t find it so I drew my own, and after the second attempt had one I liked. Also, for a summer dress the full lining makes four full layers of fabric across the little one’s front—too much for our hot summers. I ended up cutting the lining just under the armholes and hemming the two front pieces instead. The finished garment is cute.

As indicated in the main Petal Wrap listing, the flutter sleeves are from the Pathfinder Vest pattern, which has a variety of features such as the flutter sleeves, hoods, are more that are compatible with the Petal Wrap for an even bigger selection of styles to choose from. I loved making this dress/smock. So versatile, easy to follow instructions but I also watched the video. My biggest problem was understanding layered printing but that makes sense now. I will be making more Nora has already picked out the fabrics from my stash.... petal dress had buttons but have tried snaps this time
I adore this little dress. Easy to make. I watched the tutorial to guide me and found it really helpful to compliment the instructions. I can't wait to send it to my grand daughter and see her wearing it. I will definitely make more of these little beauties. I also made a crown and nappy cover to compliment the dress.
Loved making this and the petal dress for my granddaughter. It was quite simple to make, easy to embellish, and turned out so cute.
Made a tunic for my granddaughter to celebrate National Women’s Day
Don't skip the top stitching it really makes this look great. My toddler loves it and it looks great and I managed to make it in a couple of days, with said toddler around. I put button holes and inherited buttons on the snap placement marks.
So easy, so lovely, reversible! Loved making it! Years ago when this girl was still small, I made the same dress and she wore it for years… later as a top😂Now they wanted a new one… et voila!🌸
As always the pattern directions were crystal clear and easy to follow. I did make an alteration to the bottom shape of the Petal Dress to square it off as that better suited my needs. The costume turned out great and my grandson was very happy!
I loved all the ressources and step by step instructions and tips. Made it so easy to achieve a great result
