Such a fun add-on

I started out intending to make one leaf, but I have already made 5! That's how easy and satisfying this pattern is to make.

There is a fantastic range of leaves in the expansion pack, with something for everyone across the world, from an English oak to a Canadian maple. I haven't even made any in the large size yet, so the new pack gives you so many additional options.

It's also a great pattern for using scrap fabric, one small bag could easily be cut from an old pair of trousers. I even used an old damaged work fleece for the batting piece!

My master plan is to make 4 more, as I'll be dividing them among my family at Christmas time!

I absolutely fell in love with the ginkgo and pawpaw panels… I think I made six bags—no, eight already… Anyway, when you love it, you don’t count!

Amazing wings!

I just finished my first pair of dragon wings and I am in love. They are so delightful, and the instructions made them very easy. I used some random stabilizer and fusible fleece I had sitting around and they worked out fine. Looking forward to seeing what the next pair looks like with proper stabilizer and interfacing.

Delightful nature bags!

I love the two leaf satchels I made for my kids (and so do they)! I outfitted each satchel as a nature explorer kit (journal, small clipboard, writing utensils in a felt pouch, magnifying lens, compass, and collection containers). They will go on many adventures!

I love how this pattern expands on the original design, adding variety and allowing for even more personalization. It’s a fantastic way to make each piece feel unique without overcomplicating the process.
The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and everything comes together smoothly creating an end result that is truly beautiful.
