Easy,fun, adorable

I sewed the hood for my son, using the free reindeer add on. So cute! Easy to sew, and comfy. Uncycled a thrifted blanket and flannel shirt.

Summer wearable toile

I made my wearable toile from a king single double sided quilt/duvet cover. I did a simple V neck and ommited the collar/hood. I'm short and big chested so did the full bust adjustment and shortened it a lot. I did not line the sleeves as I wanted something lighter to throw on after swimming and in summer evenings.

Couldn’t resist making a couple in flannel

Got a request for warm winter dresses. Flannel Fable to the rescue. Flamingoes are lined with bemberg, and Lemons lined in bamboo. These were really happy sews, and my Grand loves wearing them!

On my 3rd Petal Dress

Stitched up a Petal dress for my 6 yo grand. Used a home dec print and shirting as a lining. Put kitty ears on the hood, and she loves it. A pleasure to make and so much fun to see her enjoy wearing it!
Second one is ready for snaps, and 3rd will be finished tomorrow. Love pairing woven fabrics from my stash to make fun and whimsical clothes for my grands!
