Excellent pattern

This was the best digital pattern I have used to date. Very clear and specific instructions.

I didn’t have iron on interfacing so used two layers of sew in which caused problems with the outside fabric stretching when being quilted and I won’t make that mistake again. It was probably the most fiddly thing I have ever made too because of all the layers but I’m pleased I persisted as my granddaughter loves it. I made the medium size.

I found this pattern to be easy to understand with each step clearly laid out - it was a daunting project for me. I never got confused or wondered what to do in any step while making it. I like the tips, videos, material suggestions and the inspirations that are a part of Twig and Tale patterns. I'm not sure I would have tried such a project if I hadn't previously used Twig and Tale patterns and knew them to be so user-friendly. Another Twig and Tale pattern-user success!

Overall liked

Over all I enjoyed sewing up and making the ocean basket. There are some challenges as a US user in that the fabric here is often different sizes then written in the directions. Which means lots of figuring out what you need. That coupled with the interfacing being hard to find ( even the us alternative one suggested) and having no real frame of reference for how thick it needed to be ( other than firm) I think I went too thick. Overall I think the basket turned out well and my daughter liked it so that’s what is important. Looking for help/ support in The online Facebook group didn’t really offer replies which means it probably has gotten too big or people just didn’t know the answer. I will defiantly still make stuff from this company but do more research on what I need before I start and reach out directly to the author of need be. I was in a time crunch.

Cloud Basket

I recently made the Cloud Basket for 2 year old grandchild who loved it right from the start! I used Op Shop (Charity Shop) fabric and a recycled sheet for the lining. The baby doll this was made for is small so used the 9 inch sized pattern. Second grandchild has already asked for one, and parents who have seen the first one I made wanted to know if I sewed them to order. Thanks T&T for a lovely pattern.

Fun and detailed pattern

I had a lot of fun with this pattern. I have never used quilting techniques or used batting before so this was new territory. The instructions were detailed and clear so I was able to make this up pretty quickly for my daughter’s Ostara gift 🖤

A perfect design

This is a relatively complex pattern to make in terms of "moving parts" but the pattern is beautifully drafted and went together smoothly. I really appreciated the attention to its play value.

I am in love with the forest basket I made. I learned some new things making this. Instructions were very clear. Not a fast sew for me, but I enjoyed the process and took my time. The results are amazing and I'm so happy with it!
