Great pattern

It honestly took me about 4 days to complete the ocean basket because I’ve never quilted before and I wanted to take it one step at a time. It was fun to watch the basket come together. It’s not perfect and I made some mistakes but I’ll definitely make another one and try the appliqué as well. The instructions were very clear and the videos were helpful.

An Adventure

Sewing up the forest nature basket was part adventure, part fun, and part frustrating. Overall, it was a pleasuarble experience and I'm very happy with the outcome. Instructions were generally clear (a misprint on the pattern which has now been fixed was a head scratcher) and most of the frustrating aspects were things outside of the pattern makers' control (interfacing shrinkage with Pellon that was unknown). This was made as a gift, but I know already that the recipient will enjoy it thoroughly. Twig and Tale makes such beautiful patterns that inspire a love of nature, and this is one of their best, in my opinion.

Absolutely gorgeous Forest Basket!

Once again, I find the patterns and instructions the best, I have ever had the pleasure of using.
The video is an absolute saviour as being a quilter doesn't make one a sewer who understands patterns!
So very happy with the result, will post photo after gift is given!

Truly whimsical

What a wonderful and truly whimsical pattern that will not only delight the lucky one who receives it but also the one who creates it. I loved making this Forest Basket. The instructions are very clear and the videos are excellent. There are a couple of tricky things to do but the results are magical. The addition of the hood which can also be used as a play house allows you to be creative by adding your own designs to make the complete set you own.

A beautiful project

As always, a beautifully detailed set of instructions, resulting in a lovely finished product. This will be a gift for my almost 3 year old next week. On and off, it took me a long time to complete, only because I'm a slow worker!
One extra step I did -I turned the hood inside out and sewed along the two seam lines either side of the rectangular panel. This held my hood lining (which was too big - I'm not good at judging seam size!) to the outer skin.

Excellent pattern

This was the best digital pattern I have used to date. Very clear and specific instructions.

I didn’t have iron on interfacing so used two layers of sew in which caused problems with the outside fabric stretching when being quilted and I won’t make that mistake again. It was probably the most fiddly thing I have ever made too because of all the layers but I’m pleased I persisted as my granddaughter loves it. I made the medium size.

Forest Nature Basket

I found this pattern to be easy to understand with each step clearly laid out - it was a daunting project for me. I never got confused or wondered what to do in any step while making it. I like the tips, videos, material suggestions and the inspirations that are a part of Twig and Tale patterns. I'm not sure I would have tried such a project if I hadn't previously used Twig and Tale patterns and knew them to be so user-friendly. Another Twig and Tale pattern-user success!
