By modifying the pattern pieces you can make almost any animal you can think of!

I really enjoyed this pattern. It is well written and such a fun design! I made a baby size 3-6 months. It was easy to print the templates at a smaller size to fit the smaller size vest. I can’t wait to make more of twig & tale patterns! This was the perfect first Halloween costume for my little guy!
Excellent instructions as always. My kiddo requested to be a lion for Halloween this year and this pack worked out perfect. I used the scout pants pattern for the bottoms and mashed the hood to a not t&t top. The whole thing turned out great and kiddo is very happy.
The animal add on was exactly what I needed. Easy to make up and it looked fabulous in the long black fur that I used to replicate our cat.

I am in love with Twig & Tale patterns and this one is no exception! I have only made one Pathfinder with the Bear ears add-on but have more in mind. The tutorials are invaluable, as I am a visual learner, and guide you step by step. I will make many more because of the ease and variations of the pattern. Just found some 'mane' yarn so that will be next :)

My daughter wanted to be a dragon for Halloween and she picked out the fabric. She loves the outcome. Even with tips from the FB group the spikes on the head are a little floppy but overall we're both very happy. The sparkly fabric she picked for the wings and spikes worked perfectly otherwise with support from interfacing (on both sides). The green sparkly fabric is quilting cotton. She and I both have Pathfinder vests and I love how the animal add-on contributes to how the pattern can be used.
Great pattern, instructions a bit tricky as it is reliant on you purchasing the animal add on pattern. I had to figure out how to adapt it to the vest pattern as I didn't have the animal add-on, but it wasn't super difficult to figure out. Little One is super pleased with her dragon. I added gloves with talons and a fire stick...boom happy little dragon.
