Cute and easy

I made three of these cute little hats so far in various sizes. The hardest part is getting all the pieces cut out!

Easy sew, with a very cute result

The pattern was very easy to understand. It all matched up very well. And it was a quick make too. Very happy with my cute little hat. Will definitely make more!

Quick and Easy Sew

I was part of the test team for this wonderful sunny hat. Latest request was for a baby girl with special request that it wasn't to be girly. Good thing I had some Aussie themed fabrics on my stash and voila two hours later one completed hat.

Easy to sew, outstanding result

Easy to sew pattern with excellent instructions Thank you for the free download. I made it as a reversible hat for my 14mth old grandson - perfect fit with a wide brim for our Australian summer and he loves wearing it! I’m motivated to try out an adult one for myself. I made the ‘inside’ first and when I had sewn the ‘last seam’ I tried it on for fit and ended up decreasing the seam allowance to give it a tad more ease - it is important to measure the head size and sew accurately - as pointed out in the instructions. Thanks again for your generosity with the free pattern - I have since been checking out the other patterns on your website given the quality of the hat pattern!

Sunny Hat

Great little hat for my 6 month old grandchild but had trouble keeping it on, so added a circle of elastic around the base of the crown and an adjustable chin strap using cotton tape and a spring button.

Perfect for beginners

This was my first attempt at making “clothing” after learning to make quilts this year. The pattern was really easy to follow and the video was super helpful!
I will definitely make this again! Thanks twig + tale

Really lovely

This is a really lovely hat. Unfortunately i mismeasured so it is too big.
But i will definately make another in the right size.

Fab Hat

Brilliant hat pattern, really easy to follow. Made as a gift for daughters friend, can't wait to have the time to make one in my size (and for the rest of the family). Made using (scotch guard!) fabric from the amazing cupboard that keeps giving at a local sewing group, Sew What.
