Suggested Fabrics

This pattern requires lightweight to medium weight woven fabrics.  

Summer options include lightweight linen, cotton, silk, lawn, voile, charmeuse, crepe de chine, double gauze, seersucker, Tencel, and chambray.

Winter options include chambray, flannel, wool crepe, soft corduroy, and thinner velvets.

Other Supplies & Notions

  • Spool of coordinating thread
  • Interfacing: 8-10" (20-25cm) of mid to lightweight knit or non-woven interfacing
  • Optional: 1/2 yard or metre of 1.5" (3.5mm) wide bias binding (if not making your own using the pattern piece supplied)
  • 1 button
  • Short piece of elastic cord for button loop
