For outdoor adventures, muddy gardens, or messy jobs, the Rainhaven Overalls keep you dry and comfortable.  The simple, functional design can be pulled on over clothes, with the perfect amount of ease for unrestricted movement.

Sew them in waterproof fabric for rainy days, or in sturdy fabric such as canvas for durable utility overalls.

The pattern includes a selection of optional features such as a chest pocket, elastic stirrups to keep pant legs in place, and knee and seat patches that can be combined to make them your own.

A seam-sealing tutorial is included for a truly waterproof finish.

Very happy

I made these overalls for my 12 month olds for playing in the park and garden. The pattern was easy to follow and they turned out exactly as I pictured them. I used PU water resistant fabric and chose the knee and bum patches and I have enough fabric left to make the second set in the reverse colours. The pattern for 12-18 months understandably comes up very big so the girls will have to grow into them - not a problem but something to be aware of if you’re looking for something for a 12 month old.

Excellent and easy

A really easy pattern to make, suitable for beginners. Made in cotton as a pantomime costume and have had requests from friends as are quite fashionable in bright patterns.

Great Waterproof Pants

This pattern was perfect for waterproof pants for my granddaughters. I used PUL fabric and lined the pants with fleece for warmth. The stirrups’ option is great for keeping the pants around the ankles, Thanks for a pattern that will be used again.

I've been eyeing up this pattern...

Ive been eyeing up this pattern since I came across Twig and Tale 😍 i'm still to muster the 'I can do it' energy to try it out though 🙈. I've read through the pattern and the instructions are very clear and easy to understand. The inspiration pictures are fantastic!! I'll update once i've got off my butt and tried it out myself haha

First of many?

The Softshell is perfect for these overalls, so the kids can play outside in winter without getting their clothes filthy. The pattern was simple for me as an experienced sewist, and with plenty of detail the even someone less experienced should be able to make them.

Keeping granddaughter dry

Love this pattern, made a few mistakes and pocket is wonky lol but that’s all driver error. Pattern was great and easy to follow. Just need to make a pair with stirrups as my grand daughter won’t keep her boots on 🤦‍♀️😂💜

Obssesed with these!

This pattern is amazing! It fits perfectly on the first try and super easy to follow! Exactly what I needed, now I'm off to buy the adult ones 🙌

Lovely pattern, wonderful instructions & slippery soft shell!

Fun sew, great transition piece

Tutorial and videos were easy to follow. A pretty quick sew. My first time sewing with soft-shell and I didn't have any problems. My daughter who hates elastic rain pants wears these all the time.

Easy to make

This is a great pattern! Make sure to check your wearers torso length so it isn’t too short in the crotch! The measurements are accurate as listed. Made one cloth pair for grandson and son-in-law. Comfy to wear.
