I really love it

I was looking for a pattern for a warming cape because the windows here are often open due to COVID and I'm cold then. This cape is exactly what I was looking for. It's just the right size and easy to sew. The instructions are easy to understand even for non-native speakers.

I love how simple the instructions are and easy to follow. I made it a little complicated by doing velvet with linen. It still turned out lovely and very fun to wear. Can't wait to start a new pattern and maybe another cape for fall or winter! :)

Fabulous

I love this cape, it’s such an easy pattern and I’ve already made two! I am a UK 26 (so plus size) and the M/L is a perfect fit!

adult travellers cape

For my first Twig and Tale make I chose to make this beautiful cape. I have followed the brand on fb for a while but have only recently begun sewing clothes after many (MANY) years. Everything I have read online about the ease of use of the patterns and instructions and the back up support online is absolutely true. I have an acquired brain injury that makes it hard for me to follow instruction and read and take in a lot of information so this was a big undertaking for me - i was very nervous. But this was so easy to follow, to see the pictures and take things literally one step at a time. Amazing - and it all worked out to perfection. Love it

Super simple and easy!

The cape pattern is perfect and so easy and simple!

Made a cape (S/M classic length) and a matching pathfinder vest tonight. I can go to sleep feeling accomplished now (:

Thanks twig and tale ❤️

Lush and easy to follow

A bit shorter than expected

I wanted to add that in the drawings cloak length appears to be around mid-thigh, but I found it was more like waist/cape length on me. I am 5’9” but it seemed significantly shorted to me. I think the drawings are a little out of proportion- the cape is actually shorter than depicted. I’d make sure to measure the length and make sure it’s falling where you want on your body before deciding on which length to use.

Lovely cape

The pattern was very easy to follow. I’m a beginner and had never worked with wool tweed or minky fabric before so I had to adapt a little to account for those. I’m so pleased with the results!!

Easy to follow and great result !

This cape was my first "big" sewing project, and thanks to T+T easy step-by-step instructions, it was a success ! This pattern is great for beginners, even if you don't have lots or previous experience on a sewing machine
