I was so impressed with the ease of making this little hat! The pattern was simple to follow and only took me a couple of hours from printing the pattern to completion. I made it in a fine corduroy, lined with drill. Little ones can be reluctant to wear hats but my grandson happily wears his as it has plenty of room with a comfortable chin strap. I will definitely be making more and exploring other Twig and Tale patterns in the future.

Evergreen Fur Bonnet

Excellent pattern.
Pieces fit together perfectly.
I made this from a vintage fur coat with flannel lining.
Fits somewhat larger than expected.
Will make many more.

Another winner 😉

I bought this pattern to sew a new baby gift, I made up a practice one sized for my toddler and needless to say its her new favorite hat...
So simple to sew (classic twig and tale) and my simple hat without any extras was made up in an hour... Perfect for a last minute baby gift, or a gift for any child on any occasion.

Bunny hat!

My 2.5 year old has been really into bunnies lately. She loves when I put her hair into pigtails, she pretends she's a bunny and hops all over. So I made her this bonnet and she absolutely loves it. :) She's such a "hoppy" bunny now! Lol

Once again a Twig + Tale pattern doesn’t disappoint. The hardest part was wrapping my head around how to cut out directional fabric for the lining. A quick & easy sew with very cute results. It so nice when you can create unique gifts.
