An enjoyable project

I’ve made the raccoon and bunny slippers and my grandkids just love them. I love that I can make these in so many sizes. That’s value for money. Something different and an enjoyable project.

I love this pattern!

This pattern is delightful. I love how flexible it is (so many sizes and animal options), and the directions are easy to follow and execute. A very satisfying project, and my new favorite gifts for all of the kiddos in my life. Thanks Twig + Tale!

Gorgeous Animal Shoes

Such a beautuful, simple pattern with a very tidy finish. I love that you can use the lining pattern piece to make a normal Wayfarer shoe too.

Worth tak8ng a little care for a lovely result

I enjoyed making the cute bunny slippers for my great nephew. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I loved them and have posted them off. Thanks for a great project.

These shoes are so quick to make!. I've been making them section by section between house work. The bunnies are so cute. It was my first time embroidering on wool but I am happy with the results. My little one was grabbing them off the table before I even had the insole put in, even though they are for her birthday. I know they will be loved.

Lockdown stress reliever!

Cool project during lockdown..I made them totally using old bits and Bob's. It was slightly harder than I expected, but I am a novice at this type of sewing.. very pleased with the end result.

i love these cute little shoes. they are for christmas so i can't vouch for how well they stay on but if i can I'll come back and edit this review to include that. i used an old wool sweater (similar to boiled wool) for the outers and flannel inners. I'd say they'd probably be easier to see with thinner material, i plan to make some summer shoes later. but really, they worked out and seem the right size. i made size 3 and 7.
Be serious about your seam allowances.
trust the markers for ear placement.
try french knots for eyes on small sizes if satin stitch is daunting.
works great with wool and courderoy.
make several pairs.
some tips.
