Dragon wings

I made the medium size dragon wings and they were simple to make, the step by step instructions were very thorough. The trickiest bit for me was making sure I had the correct interfacing!
I am absolutely delighted with the end result and I look forward to gifting them to my nephew next week.

The perfect Christmas project

I had SUCH fun making wings for three of our grandchildren for Christmas.

The most difficult part was turning them - no sewing skills involved, just plenty of patience.

It was a great project for using up some of my big bag of scraps - I just had to buy some stiff interfacing.

Time-wise; cutting fabrics, interfacing them and choosing colours and designs that worked together took a little while, but I comfortably completed three pairs in three days.

…and the children love them!

A bit of a twist

I chose this pattern as it was the closest to what I wanted to achieve. Instead of going straightforward I modified the wings to give them another part in order to get it as close to the very hungry caterpillar‘butterfly’ as I could.
It was great as it allowed a body to be attached to bring it even closer together.
Thank you so much for another amazing pattern with beautiful detail.

Amazing wings for big adventures

These wings are absolutely amazing! As a sewing newbie the pattern and instructions are easy to follow. Also for the different things you need is a clear explanation.

We made the dragon wings small size 2 years ago for our son, he is now 5 and still using them with his pixie pea dragon coat.

So can recommend them to all of you! For kids, dolls, adults, they are amazing!

Can't wait to make another pair (or more)

Easy to sew and much loved gift

I made a pair of wings for my niece and her doll. The pattern is beautifully written and makes a great lasting gift. Was easy to sew and makes sturdy wings. My niece has been enjoying playing with them and asked if I could make her a smaller version for her smaller dolls.

Beautifully Achievable

I am still fairly new to sewing, but I am finding these wings very doable. The instructions are clear and simple, and even though I haven’t finished them, I can’t help showing off my half finished wings to every one I know. I can’t wait to get on my sewing machine and I can’t wait to give them to my son.
