Easy to follow with perfect results
This was an enjoyable sew with all the features you would expect from a T+T pattern: projector file with mirror imaging and unfolded pieces; well written tutorial with colour photos; clever construction and wonderful options.
I’ve already cut the bib of my next one for some slow embroidery. It layers well over dresses, such as the Fable, knit dresses, Tshirt and leggings combo.
I promise you’ll be delighted with this pattern.
This pattern is perfection, challenging enough to be fun but still strait forward enough to be easy, the finishes are so professional I can barely believe I made it, I love it so much I’ve already made three!
I LOVE this pattern! My girls LOVE their dresses! The instructions are super clear. The video guide is fantastic. The finish is so beautiful and professional. I love all the pocket options. I love that you can layer them over knits jumpers in winter and singlets in summer. It's such a versatile, all season pattern. I will be making many more of these!
The Wildflower Pinafore just begs for you to add embroidery to the classic bib or even the patch pocket. I used some precious embroidery that was made by my late grandmother and is more than 20 years old. From the wonderful fit (my daughter is tall for her age), deep hem, room to lengthen the straps and special embroidery, I was able to make something that is deeply personal with this pattern. As always, the instructions were amazingly clear and I always learn new techniques. A helpful video tutorial is also included. I received a free copy of the pattern as a member of the Sew + Show team in exchange for sewing a sample and sharing my experience. Even so, I find myself feeling the most creative with Twig and Tale patterns. 🥰
The perfect hot weather pinny. Nice and fresh. And of it is cold, You can just layer it uo.
What a lovely pattern for kids. The pocket options are the best, especially the collecting pocket. I made one for my middle kiddo, and the youngest has already been asking for their own that I have added to my "to sew" list. The construction came together beautifully and it was a joy to sew. I definitely recommend this pattern!
