Sweet Embroidery Touches For all Your Makes

I received this bundle gratis as a Storyteller, but my opinions are my own. I have always admired embroidery but felt that it would be too challenging for me, as I am not great at small, fiddly things. That changed last year when I joined the Storytellers and my son asked for a whale embroidery on his overalls. I was delighted that, by following along with the very detailed instructions in the embroidery pattern, I was able to produce something that was really fantastic looking! The same is true with this bundle of sweet bee, honey and lavender embroidery patterns. I used the bee and honeycomb to embellish a Ridgeway shirt for my son and the bees with lavender to decorate the collar of a shirt that I made for my husband. The bees are the most challenging portion of the embroidery, but by following along with the stitch guide and making the stitches in the order recommended, I had bees that looked fuzzy and alive, just as I was hoping. Both my son and husband love the extra special embroidery on their garments. If you are a complete beginner, or if you are more accomplished at embroidery and want to add a new motif to your collection, this is a great pattern!

So lovely

This was my first time embroidering. The video's helped me a lot, they're easy to follow. The pattern itself guides you very well, although I probably chose a fabric to which transferring a pattern didn't work. Ultimately I had to draw the bee free hand. It still turned out pretty nice.

Fun little bees

I really enjoyed making these little bees the instructions are clear and printing the PDF was simple. Highly recommended to beginners and advanced stitchers.
