Suggested Fabrics
This pattern requires mid weight non-stretch wovens. If you choose to use a stretch woven or knit fabric, you may need to go down a size in width.
Summer options include: mid weight linen or cotton, hemp, quilting cotton, chambray, lightweight denim, lightweight twill.
Winter options include: wool suiting, corduroy, denim, wool, brushed cotton.
Other Supplies & Notions
- Spool of coordinating thread
- Elastic - 1" (25mm) firm knitted, woven, or non-roll elastic and a large safety pin for threading the elastic through.
- Small piece of ribbon or a tag to indicate back of pants.
