Digital Pattern (All) + Video Class (Fable only) BUNDLE - Fable Dress + Traveller Cape Sewing Patterns ALL sizes

I am solidly a beginner and found this pattern so easy to follow. I made some adjustments to the length so that it was more of a full-length cape for my 5-year old but it was simple to do with the pattern pieces. The cape turned out beautifully and is one of the more professional-looking items I have sewed :) This was my first Twig and Tale pattern and I'm looking forward to using more in the future.

I am so disappointed in this pattern. I have used this method of downloading patterns in the past with moderate success and I realize that is is truly a beginner sewing project. My problem is technical in nature. I thought it was just me, but I had my daughter come up to help me and neither one of us could figure out all the dotted lines and “layering “ that the instructions talk about. I have printed out all instruction ( 29 pages) twice and still can not figure out how to put the parts together. I so wanted to try this pattern but I guess I will look somewhere else for a cape. To be honest, I thought I was going to receive a pattern in the mail when I saw the price.

Easy to follow pattern that offers lots of versatility and lovely details. My granddaughter loves it and wears it on all her daily adventures

My daughter wanted a princess cape for her birthday and this fitted the brief perfectly. I made the size 5-7 but lengthened it. The instructions were easy to follow. I do wish I pressed the lining seems as I went.

This pattern was so enjoyable to sew with so many options for customization. Even though the pattern is meant for woven fabrics, I was working with a knit (to make a capelet that matched another project) and this pattern worked a dream! I already have a request for long cloak from my niece, who loved her capelet so much. She is excited to have a winter cloak that she can wear instead of a "regular coat."

Easy to follow instructions and finished exactly as I had imagined it! I'm working on a second one right now!

Unlimited possibilities to express your creativity with this cape. First travel is for the sewist while sewing it! Tutorial, step-by-step explanations very well done as usual with T&T patterns !

Great pattern, really easy to follow for begginers to. My daughter liked it so much as a costume for carnivale.
