The Best of the Best

The Panel mask is my favorite mask pattern for use with elastic ear loops. I have tried at least 10 different mask patterns from the internet, including one popular pattern, which just doesn't fit well imho. The Twig + Tale Panel mask fits the face super well and is available in sizes so it can be fit to different face lengths/widths. It hugs the face well and doesn't slip off the nose. It's fun and quick to sew. I made a bunch of masks for charity using this pattern. I get so many compliments when I wear mine. Thank you so much for designing and sharing this wonderful pattern!!

The gift that keeps on giving

The face masks I made early on were pretty crude. Then I found this pattern! I just love it. I have made 3 different sizes for family members, some for homeless people, and a few for myself. Can't recommend it highly enough. Pictured is the latest one I made for myself (I felt the need for a cheerful fabric). For this one, I used iron-on interfacing, adhered to the lining pieces. I think that will provide extra protection.

fabric-face-mask

I have made this mask before last year when we went into first lock down. Faithfully worn two, washed rotated and when material started to wear I ave made two more. Easy to make, easy pattern to cut and video tutorial easy to follow. I will make more as required. Fit is really good and I use thin garden wire to reinforce bridge over nose. Vita as a glasses wearer.

Pleated mask

Last year, here in NZ my partner and I made hundreds of these masks, they work well and are comfortable though, even after the first hundred or so and a pretty efficient production line method they do still take time to make we felt it was worth it. We made the pleated mask more than the other as there weren't many others making them. Good pattern, we cut 5 at a time using scissors, possibly could have done more layers at once if we had had a fabric knife, but lockdown here in NZ was short, so we backed off buying one. Sold them at a ridiculously low price as she,my partner felt it was important that all could afford them!

Very good pattern

I've made a few different masks but this one is by far the best pattern I've come across.
There are lots of options for ties or elastics and it's a dream to sew. It fits really well.

Fir for Purpose

I have made several face masks from these patterns. I never use any other pattern after using the Twig and Tale Patterns The options for the tie and elastic are helpful as well. Thank you for making it free.

Great multi size pattern

I’ve used loads of patterns making facecoverings for me and my family, love that this one has a size guide - wish I’d found it sooner!! Thank you Twig and Tale.
