Bunny Sewing Pattern Round-Up

With Easter just around the corner, we've been thinking about all of the Twig + Tale patterns that feature bunnies - and once we started counting, there were more than we expected (I suppose that's how it goes with bunnies!).

So, for those of you who love floppy ears and fluffy tails - at Easter or any time of year - here's some sweet bunny inspiration.

Animal Vest Add-On - The Animal Add-On will transform a Pathfinder Vest into a bunny, perfect for hopping around the park when the weather is in-between, keeping the body warm, and arms free for exploring.  With glorious floppy ears, the only question is... will you add a fuzzy tail?

Did you know there's an Animal Add-On that includes bunny ears for the Adult Pathfinder Vests as well?  Because you're never too old to enjoy some dress-up fun.

Animal Coats Add-on - All the fun of dress-up, combined with the practicality of a well-made, fully-lined coat... so cute that children may actually want to wear a coat!

It is sized generously so you can layer over a jumper and roll up the sleeves for multiple season's wear.

Animal Cape/Cloak Add-on - A bunny cape or for Easter will be a welcome addition to the dress-up basket year-round.  Capes have magical transformative powers - watch your little one don a bunny cape and let the hopping begin!

The Animal Add-On for the Traveller Cape pattern includes options for 14 animals and three cape lengths, so you can create a variety of capes for endless imaginative play.

Evergreen BOnnet Sewing Pattern by Twig and Tale

Evergreen Bonnet - This sweet vintage-inspired bonnet is a small, quick project that is perfect for your last-minute bunny ear needs.

The pattern includes baby and child sizes, and can be made with lightweight fabrics for warm weather, or cosy fabrics for cool days.  (Tip - the animal ears from the Evergreen Bonnet work with the Aviator Hat and Riverstone Bonnet as well!).

Animal Hooded Scarf - Sometimes there's a nip in the air at Easter, so a hooded bunny scarf is a fun way to keep warm while out hunting for eggs.  With options for a scarf, cross-over scarf, or cowl, the pattern includes child and adult sizes, as well as 13 other animal options.

Animal Shoes - Keep little feet warm with a pair of cute and fun bunny slippers!  These soft-soled indoor shoes are a perfect scrap buster, putting small bits of fabric to good use.

Even if you've never tried sewing footwear before, Animal Shoes are simple to make and require no special equipment.
