Absolutely adorable & it has pockets

I’m in love with this skirt. I put it together in an afternoon. I used scraps from a quilt. And pieced leftovers together to make my “fabric”. Am so excited to make more. And of course I love anything that has pockets.

Love it for so many reasons.

One of my very favourite skirt patterns - I’ve made at least half a dozen at this point and will likely be making more. It’s so thoughtfully drafted and I love the available options. It’s easy to sew, and the only adjustments I ever have to make are due to my (lack of) height. As a bonus, it works well in so many different fabrics, from structured cotton to soft linen to fluid rayon.

    Fantastic!

I adore this skirt. The pattern is so customizable, and the instructions and support are unbeatable. SO worth the small investment! I’ve made three skirts in two weeks!

A quick, easy, and fun sew

My only hassle is I wish I bought the bundle, as now my niece wants a matching skirt with her Mummy.

    My first dressmaking project

I bought this pattern as my first attempt at dressmaking (I have done some basic cushion making etc.). I loved how adaptable it is and the follow along videos made it pretty much foolproof! I lengthened it to a midi length and changed the seams to French seams. The only issue I came up against was nothing to do with the pattern itself but the fabric I chose, which was really difficult to square off before cutting. I’ve already bought the fabric to make two more versions of the skirt!

    A total dream!

I described wearing the Meadow Skirt as just like walking through a meadow in a daydream. It’s swishy, full of whimsy and completely lovely.
It sews up beautifully, and is a versatile addition to my closet.
I’ll take some worn photos and submit those too- right after I finish the fable dress!!

I am so in love with this skirt and all it’s variations. The instructions are so easy to follow and the finished product is perfection.

    Meadow Skirt Pattern

I love this pattern. This was my first time using a projector pattern. I did print out the instruction I didn't want to go back and forth to my computer. I loved the pockets (not sure what the name is for this style pocket) and the belt option. The 2 rows of elastic are an excellent option. I used to use a 2" elastic but this option is perfect so the elastic doesn't twist. I have received so many comments on my skirts. I used the Meadow Skirt pattern for Orange t-shirt day (a day that affects children in residential school and the legacy) and made 2 skirts. After making these I purchased the children's Meadow skirt so I can make matching skirts!

Thrilled to have found Twig + Tale: more than just a really great skirt pattern!

This skirt pattern was so easy to follow because of all the thoughtful work that went into its production. I didn't have to print instructions, the layering to print a single size simplified that process, and the videos held my hand throughout the construction. I will be making this with various fabric weights for different seasons. I made it with a medium-weight cotton/linen blend and it's my favorite for this summer in New Jersey. It is very beginner friendly! I also appreciated the inclusion of suggestions to reduce waste!
