Excellent Embroidery Introduction

This little humback whale is my first ever embroidery! I love T+T patterns because they give me results that make me feel like a professional, even when I am an absolute beginner. The pattern is easy to read, and the instructions for pattern transfer, direction of stitches, and how to make the stitches is fabulous. I added some additional french knots for barnacles on the whale's snout and fins to give him some extra character. I can't wait to put him on the front pocket of a pair of Rainhaven overalls for my son for this Fall/Winter.

Twig and Tale standard.

Im never disappointed with TT patterns because you know exactly what you'll get - gorgeous design, high quality drafting and beautifully written tutorials. These little whales turned out perfectly. I love the use of chain stitch for the Orca!

Simply beautiful

I stitched up all three patterns over a week to use on my kids clothing for a special event. The patterns were easy to follow and look magical. Would recommend for beginners through to accomplished stitchers.

Even I can do this!

This is not my first T&T embroidery pattern purchase, but the first I have attempted to do. I am in the process of working with it now and am super impressed with every aspect of this project pattern. The very thorough tutorial is clear enough for me to accomplish some lovely stitches. It provides clear instructions with several options for transferring the whale design to my fabric. I am on vacation now and am enjoying having this project to work on during my downtime. I would highly recommend the whale embroidery. I love that there are options in the tutorial for either a simpler stitching of the whales or a more detailed, ambitious stitching.
