Bring a touch of nature inside with these whimsical, quilted leaf blankets inspired by deciduous forests of North America, where the lush green leaves of summer change to blazing canopies of red, orange, and yellow in autumn.

A simple, satisfying project, these versatile leaves are perfect for cuddling and playtime.  Leaf blankets are a lovely beginner quilting project that can be made with a regular home sewing machine.

Dreamed up by Lisa's sweet, nature-loving girl, a portion of the sales went towards reforestation projects and protecting animal habitat.  Read more about her project here.

The Cutest Designs and Very Accessible for Beginners!

These were a great re-introduction to machine sewing for me, and my first time really working with a pattern. They were simple to follow, and the videos were appreciated. I made three of them for my daughters, and they are the cutest things. I had no issues feeling successful in making these!

Tropical leaves

I bought the tropical leaves blanket to make for the new baby in our family. The patterns are great. The video tutorials are perfect! No messing around- right to the point of the tutorial- quick and easy!! My favorite video tutorial ever!

Absolutely LOVE these!

The tropical leaf blankets are super easy to sew and look amazing. My son and I love picnicking and using these as a small picnic rug always brings joy to us. Planning on making so many of these in many different sizes. Lap rugs, placemats, ‘floor is lava’ jump spots, baby gifts…. The ideas are endless!

Something magical

I love these! I saw something like these sold once somewhere (for a lot) and wanted so much to make these for myself. Thank you for providing a pattern. These will be lovely for everyone in our home to enjoy!

Unique and whimsical

I made this leaf blanket for my nephew. I had so many compliments from guests who said they’d never seen a quilt like it! It was the first quilt I’ve ever made and it came together beautifully!

Lovely little Blanket

This pattern is fantastic. Simple directions and an easy sew for beginners. I made the large maple and I'm getting ready to sew the doll size Elm. The maple turned out lovely. I see myself sewing many more in the future.

Great patterns and easy to follow instructions

I've only begun sewing a short while ago but wanted to try my hand at making one of these amazing blankets. So I purchased some fabric and this pattern.
First one I made was the Elm (without stalk).
My fabric choice could have been better (linen, which was great, and teddy fleece, which was quite slippery) but it still turned out pretty well. I used a cheap blanket as filler so it turned out quite tick as well.
Do note that the big ones are really big! I had a pretty tough time maneuvering that lump of fabric.
Still, I can't wait to make more of these. Great patterns and really easy to follow along, even for an inexperienced, self-taught, beginner like myself.
