Almost perfect

The coat is quite nice, but the instructions could be clearer. For example, the button strip pieces go onto both the main fabric and the lining, but it’s not initially made clear. It would also be amazing to edit the instructions to note “if you are using the animal add on do this bit now”. The sample grey fabric choice is very hard to discern as well, a highly contrasting thread would be helpful. We made it with a wool flannel and a satin lining.
We’ve just finished it and are happy enough with it, but it should have/could have been a much faster make if we didn’t need to seam rip so much due to the unclear directions.

What an easy sew and a cute outcome!

I'm a beginner seamstress and I love trying out new patterns. I did not mind paying for this pattern, it was worth every cent spent. It rhymes!
You can see the outcome of this project too awesome to just write, words wont do justice... see my handiwork with the help of Twig+Tale
Easy to read pattern and i cut it out wrong was confused but the online chat available was there even though we had a time difference. Followed up by an email to ensure my query was answered. 10 out of 10! Faziela

A lovely pattern and great instructions

This is a lovely little pattern. So easy to follow and great for newer sewers. I love the jackets and vest I've made from the pattern but I have shrunk the shoulder width to give them less of an 80s feel.

Really lovely pattern with easy to follow instructions. ime

I used a wool mix for the outer and a 100% cotton for the lining.
I made the smallest size. The coat went together quickly and easily and makes for a great gift which comes together in super quick time. I'm a slow sewer and it took an afternoon.
Would highly recommend.

Pixie Pea Coat Pattern

This pattern was fun and easy to create my 1st Quilted Coat. A SIMPLE pattern with well written instructions. I love the options and look forward to creating my next coat with the collar. Thanks!

Comfy fit

I love this pattern. So easy if you follow step by step. I used polar fleece one one side and flanelette on the other. My toddler loves the nice comfy fit in this size one. Seems to be a bit of a large fit for most size 1 jackets which is great because she's had lots of use out of it so far! Pixie hood is adorable!
