      Supplies

      Suggested Fabrics:

Scraps suggested! Consider many options from your scrap collection - while wovens work best, you can experiment with different weights, compositions, etc as desired. Quilting cottons or similar cottons + linens will be the easiest to work with.

This is a print-at-home PDF pattern and includes two printing options:

      1. US Letter/A4 - tiled and designed to print on your home printer
      2. A0 - specially-formatted and optimized for large-scale printing.

Note: We have intentionally omitted a Projector file for this pattern, as projection is not well-suited to the precision necessary for foundation paper piecing. If you have no printing options, though, you can consider projecting the A0 file onto paper and tracing it, but do not cut your fabric directly.

All pattern printing formats include “layers”, allowing you to print only the size(s) you need, or all of the sizes.

      A great starter

I have wanted to try this technique for a while but needed a well explained, simple project to get me started and this pattern was just that.
It is a great way to learn the basics- and make your first mistakes! Even though my panels weren't perfect the whimsy design meant I could still use them on a make.
